AreYouInterested.com, commonly abbreviated to AYI, was originally a Facebook app like Zoosk that began in 2007. Thanks to its affiliation with Facebook, it can now boast around 70 million registered members. This makes the creation of a profile also quite easy, so you won't have to spend a lot of time crafting something perfect.

In our experience AYI.com is quite simple to look at, but this makes it a lot easier to handle. Although AreYouInterested is trying to reach a wide number of different people, it seems to be particularly popular with younger singles. AreYouInterested lets you send messages easily enough, but one of the features you can use is an instant messenger to communicate with the singles that you find. At AreYouInterested.com, a handy little feature includes the Icebreaker. These are a series of set questions that you can use in order to get the other person talking. Singles are able to both browse and look at matches (which are assigned based on profile information) that are given to them.

You can also pay for AYI services. This paid subscription will allow you to see a lot more of your matches, as well as receive more instant messages and know who has viewed your profile. Upgrading will also allow all members to contact you and give you access to an advanced search.
